Valerie Hughes-Daeth

Valerie is Chair of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and a Non-Executive Director for DWP (Department for Work and Pensions). She also provides business advice, consulting and mentoring support through her own consultancy VHD Consulting Ltd. She has worked in HR/OD for over 35 years across a broad range of large international organisations in both the private and public sectors, including Media and Entertainment, Technology, Construction, Transportation, Support Services, Retailing and Professional Services/Consulting. Valerie's last Executive role was at the BBC between 2014 and 2019 as Chief HR Officer.
